February was the first time and only time I had the opportunity to head out in searching of beautiful Snowy Owl. After a couple of hours wandering around the backroads in search of these beautiful creatures, success was had. She was hanging out beside a field probably in search of some lunch, Here Mousy Mousy!! I had gone with a good friend and we parked further back and just moved up very slowly so we didn’t scare her. But, of course, there was a snow plower coming along and we only able to make a handful of images before the Snowy decided that between Us and the snow plow, she had had enough.

But I am always thrilled and excited to be able to photograph a Snowy. It is a very special moment to see any owls.
