Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan

Grasslands National Park is a Canadian national park located near the village of Val Marie, Saskatchewan, and one of 44 national parks and park reserves in Canada's national park system. This national park is north of the U.S. state of Montana and lies adjacent to the international boundary.

I was extremely lucky to photograph a Kestrel Family in Grasslands National Park, Summer 2021. This was my first time ever seeing Kestrels, what a pretty little falcon. There was either 3 or 4 baby Kestrels with Mom & Dad in the process of feeding them their evening meal. And once Mom was finishing feeding the babies, it was her turn!!
