Early Spring is a wonderful time to be out in search of any specify of birds. May is when the Red-Winged Black birds come back to a park here in Calgary. Below is a Female Red-Winged Black who I believe was looking for a place to nest or looking for the prime nesting material. The show she was putting on back and forward on the log in the little river was great!!
