Busy Little House Wrens

House Wrens are small, energetic songbirds commonly found across North America. Known for their distinctive, bubbly songs, they often nest in cavities or man-made structures, showcasing remarkable adaptability. These birds have a predominantly brown plumage with subtle barring and a slightly upturned tail. House Wrens play an important role in controlling insect populations, making them a beneficial presence in gardens and natural areas throughout the warmer months. Their lively behaviour and cheerful vocalizations make them a favourite among birdwatchers.

There was 2 of them, catching bugs and storing them up inside the hole in the fence pole. Back and forth from the old barn to the pole and back again!!
