Cascade Gardens

The 4 acre park was built in the 1930 and features gardens terraced into the hillside.  The gardens are free to the public and flowers from late June until early September. Dr. Robert Brett, the doctor for the Canadian Pacific Railway built a Sanatorium and Hotel.   The hotel burned down in the 1930s and Parks Canada quickly bought up the grounds to built the Administration Building and gardens in 1935.
