Beginnings of a New Project

This will not be the finished product but thought I would share the process. I spotted something on Facebook, yes, yes I know but sometimes there is some really neat stuff that pops up. I have been thinking of doing a little bit of painting again, I originally thought it was going to just be a winter thing but I am missing it at the moment and it is summer, there are days that will be too warm or to wet to really go do anything. So instead of doing nothing, I will do something.

I found a little dragonfly design which I thought looked pretty. And I have a few ideas that I would like to try and I am looking forward to getting paint on my hands!!

Base Coat on

I decided to do a bit of practise to draw out the design and then I decided to use watercolour pencils just to see how it will all look together. Not complete but I would share the process with all of you. I have also dug out all the colours I am going to use but the option of many many more.
