Creative Sundays

Did this little painting Sunday morning, many of my little creations are done in the morning before the day gets going. When its quiet and the day is still calm. I have been wanting to create some Sunflower paintings … something bright and colourful which I think I did get. I tried a semi-new technique to me, The Swipe! Now I have tried this technique but didn’t have great success but this time I did. I think before maybe I was pressing into the paint a bit to hard so this time I used a very light touch and I did finally get something I liked.

I look forward to trying this again on a bigger canvas and some different colours just to see how things turn out!! It is always a surprise!!
