February 1 to February 6

Behind the Scenes

Its cold out and I wasn’t heading out to do photos for my February Challenge … Photo A Day … Photo. I decided to add my set up image so you can see the the set up. Nothing fancy, what works, works right!

February 1 ~ The End Result

A little Tulle, a couple of forks, a big long mirror and a medium lens ball. And of course an idea!! Not sure if it is exactly what I had in mind but I like what I got!!

Lens Ball Ideas

February 2 - Ideas

When it warms up, I promise to have Outside photos too!! LoL Not quite what I had in mind but I dont have a lot of backgrounds to play with so I may try this one again

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Behind the Scenes

Set up photo to photograph ice bubbles at Abraham Lake.

February 3 - Methane Ice Bubbles

We light up the ice with some flash lights to get some depth in the ice and to make the bubbles “pop” a bit.

February 4 ~ Extremely Windy!

In and around Nordegg and Abraham Lake. The road heading towards the dam.

Set up For Sunrise

Set up on Abraham Lake and coming. up with ideas to make the image have a little more interesting.

Blue Light and Sunrise ~ February 5

Just starting to get color in the sky and great clouds flowing through. But I didnt want to lose the lite up ice crack with the blue light if it got to light out. So You get just before sunrise photo.

February 6 - Old Windmill

This Old Windmill was found on the way home from Abraham Lake. Definitely seen better days.
