Board of Flowers - Progress

I wish there were more hours in the day!! I did finally on Friday morning play and paint for about half an hour and add a couple of new flowers to my “Board of Flowers”. Ok, not the best of names for a piece of art but a name hasn’t come to me yet. So far I like what I have done but still needs a bit of work.

My Board of Flowers are coming along. Now the board is actually a piece of fence board from my new fence. Use what you can find!

I originally painted this little piece of board with black paint but I didn’t really like it so I decided to change it to white. Which took about 3 layers to cover up the black, by putting on the white in layers, the drying paint started cracking and it really created an interesting effect.

I decided to do all bright coloured flowers. Reds and Yellows, Pinks and Blues, all my favourite colours.
