SONG SPARROWS
Pretty Little Song Sparrow kept me company for a little while when I was at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Halifax. He/She popped up out of nowhere and it was quite a surprise. I think maybe there was a nest somewhere close so I just took few images and left him/her be.
Song Sparrows are medium-sized and fairly bulky sparrows. For a sparrow, the bill is short and stout and the head fairly rounded. The tail is long and rounded, and the wings are broad.
