The Cowboy
There are thousands of people all round, shouting and cheering.
But I wish they all would be silent, so I could him and his guiter.
Does he hear the crowds and see the people?
Or does he see the open prairies and hear the wind blow through the grasses.
Does he sing sweetly, sitting by an open fire on a long summers evening.
He seems to be in his own world, just him and his guitar.
Where the horses are gazing and the gentle prairie winds blows.
The wide prairies skies go on forever and everything is silent except for his guitar.
