Sunday, August 31
Off the weekend, was I productive? Good Question, don’t ya think? I spend a lovely day out with friends, did a little photography and eat ice cream, what more could a person ask for. And then, went for groceries, grabbed a Timmies, had a nap and spend the rest of Sunday Painting. And well, that sums up my weekend. So productive in some ways yes and in other not so much.

Monday, September 1
Monday was back to work. At this point I am 1 week and about 3 days away from Holidays. I can’t wait, already received my Westjet flight info. And I am wondering if I made the right decision on only a carry on and camera bag. Well to late on!!
Monday was a long day, it was a crawl up on the couch kinda night!

Tuesday, September 2
Up early and out the door quick. Lots to do at work.
The smoke rolled in from the forest fires in the Yukon. Made for a very unwelcoming scene. I ended up having to cancel or maybe should say postpone until the end of the month. Hopefully, fingers crossed it will all work out in the end.

Wednesday, September 3
Wednesday, the smoke was still hanging around. One of the worse things for my lungs is smoke. I stayed in to play it safe.
However, I started another paint along painting. What fun these little paintings are . Such a free flowing experience. I hope to find more of them this fall and winter to do.

Thursday, September 4
The smoke rolled in a couple of days ago. Disrupting plans. This needing and wanting to be done are post poned until I get home from Scotland. Not that it is a bad thing but I was looking forward to doing these things. I try to remember that health is much more important but some of these things I planned on doing were a soul fulfilling things. It keeps me sane and happy.
Ok, that was my grump for the day!! Haha!

I had a brilliant idea for simple small gift for the fellow photographers that will be at the Photowalk Retreat. I have been rattling my brains for months now to come up with something that I think is perfect. Old film holders turned into keychains, Brilliant, Right!?

Up early to work which has been nice for a change. Probably should get to use to it but I will take what I can get.
However, I got to photograph a small event. What fun!! It was simple but thats ok. I experimented a little and I have forgotten how much fun it is to work with florescent lighting is . . . Umm No!! I have a little bit of work to do. And at the end of the event there was some very good food!!
