Or maybe I should say Ocean Escape. The beach at Rosemarkie Bay is beautiful … Sands, Sky and Waves, but there rocky portions as well. Far down the beach along the curve is the Chanonry Lighthouse is situated on the Black Isle, south of Rosemarkie, as the Moray Firth narrows between Chanonry Point and Fort George.

The beach was busy with families, dog walkers and even a few braver swimmers. Braver, than I.

The clouds rolled in and out just like the waves. There was a brief but steady rain shower and then the sun came out again.

The rain shower didn’t scare to many people away. Just me in under the trees to try and stay dry but it didn’t work.
