High Church
High Church atop St. Michaels Mount in Inverness, Scotland is on the banks of the River Ness. Built between 1769 to 1772 and was designed by George Fraser of Edinburgh. Parts of this church are much old, the top half of the clock tower dates back to the late 16th century and the lower half dates back to the 14th century.
It is the oldest congregation in Inverness. There was bit a church or site of worship since the Celtic Times and a has claim to being founded by St. Columba. Who preached from St. Michaels Mount by the Banks of the River Ness in AD 565.
Unfortunately, regular worship service end in January 2022.
