This is a truly wonderful experience. I have now been into the darkroom 3 times, and I am surprise this time how much I did remember. Matt is a wonderful teacher!! Patient and kind, always there to help. It is amazing to take out a camera and go through a roll of film and then have to wait a “Whole Day” before seeing what you have created. To watch the images come alive and see if you did get something that is worth printing. And this year, I am very pleased with what I did create.
The Inverness Darkroom is an incredible space. There is all sorts of things happening from photography to painting to mix media and probably a tonne more things that I didn’t get a chance to snoop at. It is such a great creative space, you can feel the energy when you walk into this building.
