The Waddle

In early January, I made a trip to the zoo for the Penguin Waddle. It is one of those must each year!! These curious little creatures make me smile everytime and usually learn a little something!!

One of the little (or maybe big) tidbits of information I picked up on while waiting for the Penguin Waddle was that in prehistoric times, the height of a King Penguin was between 5 and 6 feet tall. These ancient penguins lived about 50 to 60 million years ago.
