Travel Journal - Day 4
Date: Thursday September 5, 2024
Quote: The only trip you will regret is the one you didn’t take.
Location: St Andrews Walk, Dunfermline Abbey and Fife Coast
Weather: Well, the day started out rather nice there was some blue sky and some sun but by the afternoon it was windy and cold, especially by the coast.
Activity: I went on a day tour to St Andrews Walk, Dunfermline Abbey and Fife Coast. I was fun, I saw some stuff I hadn’t seen before and some new people. There is some beautiful buildings and ruins in Scotland and that is very much worth seeing.
Dunfermline Abbey is incredible to see. Now this image may not be something that would interest you but the light was beautiful coming in old glass windows and I couldn’t resist.
This is Charles Bruce, 5th Earl of Elgin and 9th Earl of Kincardine (6 July 1732 – 14 May 1771) was a Scottish nobleman. He succeeded his cousin Charles Bruce, 3rd Earl of Ailesbury as Earl of Elgin in 1747.
Yes, that Bruce Family … Robert the Bruce!!
