Turmeric Creations

Well, I am still trying to figure out how to do these little “masterpieces”?? Well, masterpiece maybe a bit far but I have really enjoyed the experimenting and creating these little prints. Not sure what I am doing wrong yet, whether the the turmeric solution is a bit dirty yet or I am leaving them out to long or not long enough. Or .. Or .. Or .. ?? But I am having fun and love to see what I get at the end of the day.

The leaves I gathered after a big wind and rain storm in the early part of June. My desk was just littered with them and I decided that I would use them for some turmeric prints. I have saved the leaves, I am hoping to make some paper in the fall and the bits of green in the paper I thought may look pretty.
