June 1st to June 30thLet’s See What I Can Find For The Month of June!!
June 1 - Rain - the windows blur - the rain falls - its cold and wet - its duck weather - the wind blows - the tree sway to and fro - its time to snuggle in with a good book and something hot - i love rainy days
June 2 - Lady Bird - Little Lady Bird, bright and colourful on a grey and dreary day - Waiting to warm up and fly away - The sun will shine in the morning - Just wait and see - The blue skies will return and the warm sunshine will dry the world out again - Fly little Ladybird Fly, there is so many things to do today!!
June 3 - Dandelions - Oh the Dandelion - bright and yellow - one day and the next white and ready to blow in the wind - I picked many of these pretty little flowers to share with someone over the years - They remind me of being young and ready for any adventure - no matter how big or small it may be!!
June 4 - The Grill - Early in May, I decided we needed to change up some of our extremely boring eating habits. To add a little spice to our lives. I miss a good BBQ. Now this isn't a BBQ but it sure does make a big difference. Steaks and Hot Dogs taste way better now. And so do veggies!! I look forward to some other experiments, soon!!
June 5 - Old Fence and Weeds - An old fence along the way with paint peeling and the nails rusting - Weather has played its part over the years The sun bakes the wood and the rain warps the boards - Winter winds blow hard and the wood bends even more - Spring comes and the grasses grow and soon the weeds appear
June 6 - The Mother - Here I sit - Patiently waiting - Watching the people pass by - I am quiet so you don’t notice - Soon my babies will be here - I will feed and care for them a way a good mother does - And quickly they will grow and out of the nest they will go - Spring leads to Summer and the babies will be gone - Time is short, live it to the fullest!
June 7 -Early Morning Skyline - The day looks promising - Sky has an early morning glow - The world is still quiet - Just the birds and the early risers - There is potential in the air - Summer is near but spring is still in the air
June 8 -Fays Way - I wonder who Fay was along the way. - Is it a sweet little memorial way or someone doing a kind thing? - I walked past this spot a couple of times while I was staying on campus. - As I walked along the way, this little sign struck wonder and curiosity. - Welcome to Fay’s Way.
June 9 - Bidgood Park - Out for a stroll around Bidgood Park - In search for birds of all sorts - The searching and singing, who is that? - Warblers warbling and ducks quacking and all is right with the world
June 10 - Cape St. Mary’s - The sun was shining, no fog in sight. - We were lucky!! - The walk along the cliffs, safely marked, had a fantastic view, you could seeing almost forever. - Watch your step, it is rocky. - Bird Rock was an amazing sight to see all those birds, nesting and waiting for the babies to hatch. - Just imagine the noise!
June 11 - Shea Heights - Beautiful views of Downtown St. John’s On a quick tour of the city. - I can imagine this view all in autumn colours It would be breathtaking.
June 12 - A Sea of Clouds - High above the world below - The clouds float by, layer upon layer - The clouds look like waves on a beach and the water is see through in the warm sun - My mind wanders back over the last few days adventure and I miss being out on the ocean, watching the whales swim by
