Squishes Of Colour

I have been trying some different things and working towards finding something that is sort of mine. I love the idea of abstract, bright & colourful and just something that makes me smile.

Sometimes you have ideas but you don’t know exactly how to go about it, it is all a learning process. I wanted to get my hands dirty which is always fun! So yesterday I was just looking for something for my 52 Week Art Project and come across Paint Pouring! Well, I had to try it and I made my first one just before leaving for work. And I love it!! Its different and new and its not perfect which is just fine with me. And now I have a zillion more ideas, from colour combinations to design ideas to “lets see if I do this will I get that?”

I have also played a bit with another simple idea which I will share below. I am one of whose persons who don’t like to waste paint, which is easier said then done in certain cases. So I have called this Squishes of Color, which I think looks rather interesting as well.

Now its not quite done, I haven’t quite decided what I am going to do as of yet. However, this is a learning thing and have thought while I was working on it that maybe I should pre-paint it or maybe leave it as is. But as this process goes on, I will share.
