Happy World Photography Day ~ 2024

Somedays I surprise myself. I guess when you decide you want something bad enough, you find that little bit of extra courage and ask!!!!

Yesterday, I went to Calgary's Chinatown Street Festival and what fun!! Bright colours, many characters and music. It was an amazing experience.

I spotted this lady in her traditional dress at her vendors booth and I so wanted her photo .. I chickened out this first time but she was out wandering around in the crowds and others were asking to have their photo taken with her. So I thought "Why Not" all she can say is "No" right.

So I asked and she said yes, and I asked if it would be ok, to go over to the brick wall. I thought that her in her white dress against the dark wall, she would pop and I think it work out very well.

Film ~ Something I have been working on. And then I decided that I wanted to try Black and White Film, all a work in progress. So far I have really enjoyed it all. Some images work and well some don’t but thats the joys of learning, isn’t it!
