Halifax in Review

This year's focus is on going to Scotland. I have planned 2 weeks there and looking forward to all of the fun and new exciting things I have planned. So I have made a decision that I am not going to go to Halifax this year. I'm going to miss it greatly. I love wandering the streets looking at all of the old architecture and sitting by the ocean and having lunch and wandering along the boardwalk.

So I have decided for the month of May to do a review on a few of the images I took last year in July of 2023. Last year's weather wasn't the greatest, however everything was green and there were little daisies everywhere. I took many many pictures of the daisies in the tall grasses all over the place within Halifax. It was a little bit of an obsession. The first patch of daisies I found was in the courtyard at the University, it was early in the morning and I was listening to the little juncos chatting.

The second image is of a song Sparrow at one of the cemeteries in Halifax. They are such beautiful little birds and they have such a loud strong voice you think there are a whole bunch of them and you turn around and find out there's only one.

I look forward to sharing for the rest of the month of May images from Halifax. Now I say that I am not going back this year but you never know what autumn may bring. I've always wanted to go and photograph the Autumn maple trees in Eastern Canada, that may need to be on the list for more sooner than later.
