Out for a Smoke

This image was taken mid-April while out on a photo walk with a group that was part of a workshop I took.  I like how the overhang of the Calgary Public Library, with all the woodwork, leads the viewer out to the Platform parking complex. I like how the gentleman is silhouetted so you don't see who it really is but you still know what he is doing. There were many of us taking photos of him and he finally decided that that was enough and off he went. Now I do have pictures of him where he's leaning in against the wall and just minding his own business but I like how I caught him putting out his cigarette on the wall before he actually does leave.
